Patient Intake Specialist (FT)

This position involves greeting customers, easing normal patient anxiety associated with medical appointments, providing information, obtaining patient demographic and insurance information from patients, accurately entering information into the information system, communicating with departments and scheduling appointments as necessary. Additional duties will also include processing and organizing incoming medical information.  This position requires an individual with a positive outlook, outstanding dedication to customer service, good listening skills, attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team environment.  The preferred candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and have a minimum of two years of experience working in the medical setting. There are two positions available with one being Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 6:30pm, and the other Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Both shifts have the opportunity to move to a more traditional daytime shift later as determined by SRC administration.

Physician Assistant (PA, PA-C)

Salem Radiology Consultants is recruiting for a Physician Assistant to join our growing practice and be a part of a talented team of physician assistants who perform a wide variety of interventional radiology procedures. Position will see a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases with a work structure that is predominantly procedure based with occasional support for outpatient clinic activities. Practice Description

Salem Radiology Consultants, more commonly known in the local community as SRC, was established in 1973.  Salem Radiology Consultants is solely owned by a group of radiologist physicians who operate an outpatient imaging facility in Salem, Oregon as well as contract with other organizations to provide radiology professional and management services.  SRC is proud to provide expert radiologist services to our business partners, Salem Hospital, Salem Clinic, West Valley Hospital, and a large multispecialty clinic located in Portland.

Salem Radiology Consultants is the largest radiology group in the region and offers a depth of specialization that is more characteristic of radiology departments at major academic medical centers than in the private practice setting.

Duties & Responsibilities

The PA will have duties and responsibilities centered around the coordination and performance of interventional radiology procedures which will include a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases as well dedicated time consulting with patients in the outpatient clinic setting.  The preferred applicant will have an excellent bedside manner and demonstrate a desire and aptitude to perform interventional procedures.

Experience & Qualifications

Salem Radiology Consultants is willing to provide training in interventional radiology procedures to new and recent highly qualified graduates.

Salary Range & Benefits

Competitive salary and benefits based on experience and training in the range of $110,000 - $160,000 based on experience and ability to perform the full scope of image guided procedures using both ultrasound and fluoroscopic image guidance.

Network and Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary:

The Network and Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure while ensuring the highest levels of security across all systems. This role combines the expertise of network administration with the critical task of safeguarding our digital assets against cyber threats.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to IT support tickets from employees, including troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing computer systems, and address issues related to hardware, software and network connectivity.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Setup all computers and necessary peripheral devices, file shares, group policy permissions and necessary applications for SRC Staff.
  • Ensure employees are supported in utilizing Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams and other Microsoft 365 products.
  • Maintain accurate records of service requests, updates and resolutions.
  • Work closely with employees to enhance user experience and provide IT related guidance on using company resources for project management, task tracking and internal collaboration.
  • Monitor and assist management of accounts, licenses and permissions, monitor user access controls, assist in running routine system maintenance, monitor network performance, coordinate with vendors for repairs, replacements and warranty claims, document best practices and procedures and recommend improvements.
  • Exercise judgment, initiative, and discretion in confidential and sensitive manners.
  • Analyze and report system issues and trends in a timely manner. Forward customer feedback received to leadership.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with end users, colleagues, and management to quickly resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training in the operation and use of systems, computers, and peripheral equipment to SRC staff.
  • Review, adapt and translate technical documentation in a clear, meaningful way for non-technical staff and students.
  • Maintain the confidential, proprietary nature of all information maintained on data systems and related to this position.
  • Work with and support other Technology Department staff as needed to ensure the effective operation of systems and equipment.
  • Direct unresolved issues/escalate to the next level of support personnel when required.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and IT protocols.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Customer-oriented approach with a focus on delivering high-quality service and support.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

  • 1-3 years’ experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role (preferred).
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.

Server and Database Administrator

Job Summary:

The Server and Database Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining our server infrastructure and database systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role combines server management with database administration, requiring expertise in both areas.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
  • Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.
  • Implement and manage virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Ensure security and compliance of server environments, applying patches and updates as necessary.
  • Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS).
  • Monitor database performance, tune queries, and optimize database structures.
  • Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and replication strategies.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform database upgrades and migrations as needed.
  • Work closely with application developers and IT team members to support database and server-related tasks.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on server and database best practices.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to enhance server and database performance and security.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of server configurations, database schemas, and administrative procedures.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency with network infrastructure technologies (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
  • High attention to detail in both network configuration and security practices.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing technology landscape and stay current with emerging trends.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (May be substituted for a combination of certifications and/or experience)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in server administration and database administration roles.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or equivalent (preferred).
  • VMWare Certified Professional (preferred).
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent (preferred).
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or equivalent (preferred).
